Beit Chanoch House of Healing at Duke Medical Center provides visiting families with a fully equipped hospitality suite on hospital grounds, kosher meals, and various volunteer services to make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible.  We offer assistance to patients and their families who come from all over the world to the internationally renowned

Beit Chanoch - The House of Healing at Duke: A beautifully furnished home with 2 suites of 2 bedrooms each. The home provides families with all the comforts of their own home. Equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, linen and laundry, computer, DVD player, comfortable furniture, and Jewish books and other religious necessities, the hospitality suite is truly a place of comfort for families in their time of need.

 Volunteer Services: Ariella Horenstein Bikur Cholim Society of Duke Medical Center assigns each family with a friendly community point person during their stay. This person will coordinate or will assist them with any of their physical and logistical needs, including travel, shopping, child-care and food. S/he will also provide support and assistance to the family during their stay, whether it is someone to talk to or visiting with the patient to give the family time to rest. The family coordinator will work closely with a team of English and Hebrew speaking students who are eager to connect with visiting families and assist them in any way possible.

image3_edited-1.jpg Kosher Food: In addtion to the kitchenette which is restocked as needed, the Bikur Cholim Socity of Duke Medical Center coordinates kosher meals for the visiting families. Please contact us for more information.
