Selling Chometz: A time-honored technique of removing the Chametz from one's domain involves selling it to a person who is not Jewish, who takes ownership of it for the duration of the holiday. You can sell your Chametz by clicking here.
Finish Eating Chometz: Everyone in the Durham-Chapel Hill area should finish eating bread/chometz by 11:03am on April 18th.
Burning Chometz: This tradition will be performed on April 18th @ 501 N Estes Dr. All Chometz must be burned and sold by 12:09pm. If you want to participate please let us know.
Ordering Kosher For Passover Lunch: The Chabad House will provide Kosher-for- Passover lunches during the week of the Passover holiday through our Passover meal plan. For a modest fee, we will make delicious meals wavilable to anyone who registers by April 10th. To be guaranteed your meals, you mist sign up by this deadline. If you do not purchase a meal plan by April 10, you may be able to purchase individual meals on site for $5 with a valid One Card. We will have alimited amount of food available for walk-ins.
